In a message sent to faculty and staff last week, President‑Elect Dr. David Dausey shared updates on his ongoing transition planning as he prepares to take office on July 1, 2026.
The message included information about his listening tour, which began in January and will continue into the spring and summer as he meets with faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partners.
In that message, he also shared sign‑up information for small‑group listening sessions with faculty and staff. Due to high interest, all available spots for those sessions have been filled. Additional opportunities to participate will be made available, and will be shared in a future communication.
In addition to in-person sessions, faculty and staff are encouraged to share their thoughts through a confidential Qualtrics survey. Your thoughtful feedback—whether about Duquesne’s future, areas for improvement, or suggestions for the new president to consider—will help shape the next chapter of our University.
