Friday, Sept. 11, 8:30 a.m., College Hall Lawn: Campus Tribute Commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Sept. 11
Presented by the Center for Student Involvement, the campus community is invited to mark the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, honor the lives lost and the sacrifices made that day. The event will include the hoisting of a commemorative American flag, a prayer service and remarks by Duquesne President Dr. David Dausey. Attendees may participate by placing small flags on the College Hall in tribute.

Sunday, Sept. 13, 11 a.m., Duquesne University Chapel, Old Main: Inaugural Mass 
The Duquesne University community is invited to celebrate the beginning of President David J. Dausey’s inauguration week with a special Mass. The liturgy will mark the opening of a multi-day celebration honoring the University's mission, history and future. 

Monday, Sept. 14, 12 to 3 p.m., Gormley Student Union Ballroom: Visual Voices 
Hosted by the Center for Integrative Health for Inauguration Week, this interactive gathering brings together community health partners and civic organizations for lunch and an arts-based discussion focused on shaping future community initiatives. Registration is requested.  

Wednesday, Sept. 16, 4 to 5:30 p.m., 20 Chatham Square, Murphy Building: Community UnCorked
University colleagues are invited to join the Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research, along with community partners, to enjoy wine, cheese and conversation. RSVP today!

Thursday, Sept. 17, 1 p.m., UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse: Presidential Investiture Ceremony and All-Campus Reception 
Dr. David J. Dausey will be formally installed as Duquesne’s 14th president during an investiture ceremony celebrating the University’s enduring mission and future direction. The ceremony will be followed by an all-campus reception on Academic Walk, bringing together students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests. The inauguration ceremony also will be livestreamed.

Saturday, Sept. 19, 8:45 to 11:30 a.m., Southside: Southside Clean-Up!
Join fellow Duquesne alumni and current students for this annual event. Held in conjunction with Inauguration Week, this year's clean-up will be part of the City of Pittsburgh Garbage Olympics, bringing together volunteers, neighbors and community partners to help keep the South Side looking its best. The event will conclude with a celebration at St. Vladimir’s Church to recognize everybody’s collective hard work. Register by Wednesday, Sept. 16.

Sunday, Sept. 20, 5 to 7:30 p.m., PNC Recital Hall: Stripped for Parts—Documentary Screening and Panel Discussion
A screening of the award-winning 2023 documentary Stripped for Parts, chronicling Alden Global’s stripping of the Denver Post and the newsroom’s fight back—followed by a panel discussion with Denver Post reporter Noelle Phillips and local journalists on newsroom ownership and public trust. Hosted by The Patricia Doherty Yoder Institute for Ethics and Integrity in Journalism and Media. RSVP encouraged.

Friday, Sept. 25, 5:30 to 8 p.m., Power Center Ballroom: 74th Annual Law Alumni Reunion Dinner 
The Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University will celebrate its 74th Annual Law Alumni Reunion Dinner. Alumni are invited to reconnect with classmates, celebrate the law school's legacy and engage with fellow members of the Duquesne University legal community.

Saturday, Sept. 27, 11 a.m. to noon, the Frick Environmental Center, 2005 Beechwood Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15217: Sensory Nature Walk and Education Seminar Series
Duquesne’s Institute for Disability Empowerment and Advocacy and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy invite people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and caregivers to participate in the free Sensory Nature Walk and Education Seminar Series. Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 2, various campus locations: Heritage Week 2026 
Heritage Week 2026 celebrates Duquesne University’s Spiritan mission, traditions and values through educational, spiritual, service and community-building activities. Programming will take place throughout the week. Visit the Heritage Week webpage for a calendar of all events and more information.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mellon Square Park, 6th Ave., Downtown Pittsburgh: Pharmacy Health and Wellness Fair
The School of Pharmacy will host this annual health event in conjunction with American Pharmacists Month. Pharmacy student organizations sponsor booths and student pharmacists offer free health screenings—including blood pressure, blood glucose and Tanita screenings—flu shots and a variety of free products and health information. Free and open to the public.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 5 to 8 p.m., Duquesne University Chapel of the Holy Spirit: 68th Annual Red Mass 
The Thomas R. Kline School of Law will host its annual Red Mass to invoke God's blessing upon members of the Bench and Bar, and legislative and executive officials. More information is available, including the cost and how to register for the dinner immediately following the Mass.

Thursday, Oct. 8, through Saturday, Oct. 17, Genesius Theater: Red Masquers: What the Constitution Means to Me
Attend a performance of the 2017 critically acclaimed play by Heidi Schreck that mixes personal story with American history. As a teenager, Schreck won college money by giving speeches about the U.S. Constitution. In the play, she looks back at her young self and her family. 

Friday, Oct. 9, through Saturday, Oct. 10, various campus locations: Homecoming and Family Weekend 
Duquesne University alumni, families, students, faculty and staff are invited back to the Bluff for a weekend of traditions, reunions, athletic events and family-friendly activities. Highlights include the Friday Night Block Party on Academic Walk, a drone show, reunion celebrations, Autumnfest, the Duquesne football vs. Long Island University.
