26th Annual Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium Showcases Innovative Investigations and Fosters Scientific Collaboration.
The 26th Annual Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium was a celebration of the accomplishments and innovative investigations carried out by our exceptionally talented undergraduate students throughout the summer. This symposium provided a platform for these students to exhibit their research findings, exchange knowledge, and establish meaningful connections within the scientific community.
The event encompassed a variety of activities, including poster sessions and interactive discussions, where students had the opportunity to interact with esteemed faculty members, industry professionals, and fellow researchers. Through this engagement, participants gained valuable experience in presenting their work, received constructive feedback, and built professional networks that will undoubtedly prove beneficial in their future academic and career endeavors.
In addition to the research presentations, we were honored to host Colin Schmucker, a Chemistry and Biochemistry alumnus, as our keynote speaker. Mr. Schmucker has spent 10 years working in industry and shared insights into industrial roles and process, inspiring and enlightening the audience.
Overall, the symposium served as a testament to the remarkable talent and dedication of our undergraduate students and left a lasting impact on the scientific community by fostering collaboration and the pursuit of excellence.
