Duquesne offers a number of international internship opportunities for our students.  Whether you wish to take a full semester to intern abroad or a summer, there are plenty of opportunities to explore.

We have partnered with several reputable third-party providers that offer a variety of international internship experiences throughout the world.  Once you have decided this is something that you may want to explore, follow the steps below and take a look at the list of approved partners to see what they can provide.

  1. Meet with your Student Success Coach to see how an internship abroad will fit into your curriculum and academic goals. If you wish to earn academic credit for the internship, discuss this opportunity with your Student Success Coach and obtain approval from the Internship Coordinator in your academic department, if required.   You can schedule an appointment with your Student Success Coach in Starfish or by emailing them directly. 
  2. Meet with your Career Consultant in the Center for Career Development to understand the internship application and explore available options.  Your Career Consultant can also provide guidance with your resume and other materials related to securing an internship abroad.   3. Meet with the Study Abroad Advisor in the Center for Global Engagement to start your application and receive guidance for details on internships abroad. Schedule an appointment with Study Abroad in Starfish.
