Light the Spark.
Since our founding in 1878, Duquesne University has been sustained by the work of the Spiritans and the generosity of alumni and friends. Now, as we pursue bigger goals, we're undertaking our most ambitious campaign ever. IGNITE will raise at least $333 million to invest in the future, illuminate the mind, inspire the soul and integrate health care. Individually, these imperatives fortify the values we've upheld and the education we've always provided. Collectively, they'll transform the wat the world sees Duquesne, and the way we see ourselves. Every gift - for any purpose and in any amount - transforms the University, changes our students' lives, and strengthens the communities and the world we serve. We encourage you to make an annual gift to The Duquesne Fund, providing immediately expendable support for the things that make a Duquesne education something more than the ordinary. You may also wish to consider a wide range of Major and Planned Giving options, including named and endowed gifts with a long-term impact.Give Now

Invest in the Future
We’ve always been committed to equity and opportunity. They begin with access and affordability. Your investment in scholarships and financial aid will pay dividends today, tomorrow and forever.
Illuminate the Mind
A Duquesne education spans disciplines, connects ideas, and reaches beyond the familiar. Your gift to advance academic initiatives will unleash the boundless potential of every school, program and student.
Inspire the Soul
As our world grows more complex, so do the challenges students face beyond our classrooms and labs. Your support will uplift our unique student-centered experience, kindling the flame within every heart.
Integrate Health Care
Our schools of Health Sciences, Natural and Environmental Sciences, Nursing and Pharmacy are all established leaders in their fields. A new College of Osteopathic Medicine will strengthen them all. Your gift will improve health care access and quality for all while transforming Duquesne’s future forever.
IGNITE is transforming people, programs and places across the Bluff and beyond every day.

The Donors' House
Located on the site of the former A.J. Palumbo Center, UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse opened in 2020. It serves as the home court for men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball, but more than that, it’s a hub of academic support, physical training, and wellness facilities for all of Duquesne’s more than 400 student-athletes.
