Setup MultiPass using D# or MultiPass username

Setting up your MultiPass account will no longer require personally-identifiable information, such as birthday, zip code, or last four of your social security number. Students and employees will now set up their MultiPass accounts using either their D# or MultiPass username. D#s are provided to incoming students via the admissions process, and MultiPass usernames are sent to an employee's secondary email once they are hired by HR.

Secondary Email is mandatory

Listing a secondary email account in MultiPass is mandatory and will help keep your credentials safe and expedite communications between the CTS Help Desk and yourself if your account ever becomes compromised. A secondary email also allows you to request a password reset link if you ever forget the password for your MultiPass account and cannot access your @duq.edu email. Your secondary email address will be recorded in our system whenever you apply to the university, whether you are applying to be a student or an employee.

Please note: You are required to change your MultiPass password every four months. Two weeks prior to your password expiration date you will be notified to reset your password via email and when you log in to DORI.

Why do I need a strong password?

Your passwords are the keys you use to access personal information that you've stored on your computer and in your online accounts.

If cyber-criminals or other malicious users steal this information, they can use your name to open new credit card accounts, apply for a mortgage, or pose as you in online transactions. In many cases, you will not notice these attacks until it is too late.

The stronger you make your password, the more difficult it will be for a hacker or other cyber-criminal to steal your identity.

Please review our campus password policy for more details.
