Online Teaching Endorsement

Follow Us!

The Online Teaching Endorsement program curriculum prepares candidates to successfully complete up to four classes (12 credits) in order to be recommended for a Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) endorsement. These courses are: GILT 512 - Design; GILT 513 - Development of Applications; GILT 518 - Assessment, and GILT 540 Delivery, Trends, Responsibilities, and Professionalism. In this program, candidates work to develop instructional lesson plans, create active learning environments in an online world, and assess student success.

If you are returning to Duquesne and you have completed GILT 512 - Design as well as GILT 513 - Development of Applications and GILT 518 - Assessment, you may have already completed three of the four courses necessary for the PDE Online Teaching Endorsement.
