Discover Your Pathway to PDE Certification
Duquesne University offers two certification pathways in Supervision for individuals
who already hold a master’s degree:
- Post-Master’s Certification Track – Requires a minimum of 15 credits and results in a post-master’s degree from Duquesne
University.
- Non-Degree Certification Track – Intended for those who need only 3 to 12 credits to meet Pennsylvania Department
of Education (PDE) certification requirements. This track does not result in a Duquesne
degree.
Both options are designed for students who do not need to complete a full master’s
program to be recommended for PDE certification. The program plan is tailored to each
student based on their prior coursework and developed in consultation with the program
director.
Let’s find the path that’s right for you. Contact the Education Administration and Supervision program to schedule a meeting with the program director and explore your next steps.
