Suzuki Strings

Students in the Suzuki Strings program start their day by performing and warming up together. Suzuki group class is essential to the methodology and helps young musicians form healthy bonds with one another while learning to perform and listen together. Developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, this approach to teaching young children can begin as early as 4 years of age, but students of all ages are welcome.  Start out with private lessons and the group class (based on your current book level), and add up to 2 core classes at a reduced rate ($400/course). Students participate in recitals each year featuring both solo and group performances. Suzuki lessons are available for Violin, Viola, and Cello (all books).

Suzuki Piano

Students in the Suzuki Piano program combine a private lesson with a Eurhythmics class. Dedicated listening of assigned repertoire is expected as it is the core of the Suzuki approach. Dr. Shinichi Suzuki stressed that "...music is something that we appreciate aurally...and as such it is important to teach it as an aural medium.". Parental instruction and involvement are instrumental for the musical development of all Suzuki students. Available for beginners in grades K-5 up to Book 2. Students will have an opportunity to share their achievements and participate in recitals each semester, featuring both solo and group performances.
