M.B.A./M.S. in Finance
Joint degrees are offered between the Flex M.B.A./M.S. in Finance. The Flex M.B.A./M.S. in Finance requires a total of 48 credits.
Students may begin their studies in either program. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.
Graduation Requirements for the M.B.A./M.S. in Finance
Students will complete all required coursework for the Flex M.B.A. and M.S. in Finance programs (see those program sections of the Catalog) with the following exceptions:
- ACCT 515 Accounting for Decision Makers (3 cr.) and FINC 530 Finance for Managers (3 cr.) will count toward both the M.B.A. and the M.S. in Finance.
- Students are advised to take ECON 520 Economic Analysis for Business (3 cr.), ACCT 615 Financial Statement Analysist (3 cr.), FINC 613 Corporate Finance (3 cr.), and FINC 617 Financial Markets and Institutions (3 cr.) to fulfill requirements in both the M.B.A. and the M.S. in Finance.
