Biography
Brittney Sobota is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from West Liberty University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science and graduated from Alderson Broaddus College with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2010 where she received the Outstanding Senior Female Award and was the inaugural recipient of the Shearer-Keenan Award. After graduating, she practiced as a physician assistant for 8 years in Cardiovascular Surgery at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. In 2018, she transitioned to an Internal Medicine practice providing primary care at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV. Since 2022, she has been a contracted employee with Skin Clique providing medical aesthetic services. Throughout her time in clinical practice, she also joined the faculty of West Liberty University’s PA Program in multiple roles, including Academic Coordinator, adjunct faculty, and assistant professor prior to joining the faculty of Duquesne.
