Biography

Mrs. Marra has been a practicing speech-language pathologist in the Pittsburgh area since 1984. She was worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities treating adults with neurological impairments and children with speech and language impairments.

At Duquesne, Mrs. Marra is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Language Disorders and Autism Clinic where she supervises graduate students in the evaluation and treatment of children with developmental language disorders. In addition, Mrs. Marra teaches Speech and Language Development to undergraduate students. In the course, she instills the student's learning of the fundamental theories, terminology and stages related to typical language development in children.
