Learning who you're going to live with and where can be one of the most exciting parts of getting ready to come to Duquesne.
When you receive your acceptance to Duquesne from the Office of Admissions, you'll be able to pay your $500 deposit online, which holds your place in the class and starts the process for you.
Students entering in a Fall semester:
Beginning in March, we will send a welcome email containing a link to the housing preference form and agreement to each student who has deposited to attend Duquesne the following Fall. You'll have the chance to tell us if there is a specific person you'd like to be your roommate, as well as a number of things to help us find a roommate for you if you don't have one in mind. You'll also have the chance to give us your preference about room type, etc.
New students receive their room assignments and their roommates' contact information electronically from the Office of Residence Life in early July.
Students entering in a Spring semester:
Beginning in November, we will send a housing preference form and agreement to each student who has deposited to attend Duquesne the following Spring. You'll have the chance to tell us if there is a specific person you'd like to be your roommate, as well as a number of things to help us find you a roommate if you don't have one in mind. You'll also have the chance to give us your preference about room type, etc.
New students receive their room assignments and their roommates' contact information electronically from the Office of Residence Life on a rolling basis.
