One of Largest Freshman Classes Slated for Move-In at Duquesne
What: More than 1,550 freshmen and their families are expected at Duquesne University for Move-In Day.
Move-In Day marks the start of Duquesne’s award-winning, student-organized Orientation program, which has selected It’s Time to be You as its theme this year.
Orientation, which runs through Sunday, Aug. 21, offers a variety of activities for new students and their parents to help with the transition to college. Among the scheduled events are an ice cream social, matriculation ceremony, a parent breakfast and various information sessions.
When: Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Duquesne University, 600 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh.
Information: Media are asked to RSVP to arrange parking and an escort from the Office of Marketing and Communications.
