What does this mean for me?

Duo Push and app-generated passcode authentications will continue to function on already-installed versions of Duo Mobile on devices with iOS 11 and Android 7. However, you will not receive updates to Duo Mobile on these devices after Dec. 1.

Beginning Feb. 21, 2021, devices with iOS 11 or Android 7. will no longer be able to download Duo Mobile from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. However, you can continue using already-installed versions of Duo Mobile on devices with iOS 11 or Android 7.

I receive authentication texts or calls to a device using iOS 11 or Android 7. Will I be affected by this change?

SMS-delivered passcodes and phone callback authentication do not rely on the Duo Mobile app. You can continue to use these authentication options on a device with iOS 11 or Android 7.

What operating systems is Duo Mobile still supported on?

Duo Mobile will continue to be supported on iOS 12 or later and Android 8 or later.
