Shuttle and Parking

What can I do if I’ve lost my ID.?

You are able to purchase a new ID in the Parking and DU Card Services Office. The University is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged IDs. A replacement ID will incur a fee of $25.00

A Temporary ID does not permit you to ride the Shuttle.

I have to drive to campus, but usually take the Shuttle. What are my options for parking?

You are permitted to park in the Forbes Avenue or Locust Garages and pay the daily parking rate. You must enter through the Forbes Garage entrance to pull a ticket.

How long does my University ID last?

The shuttle operates during the fall and spring semesters.  As long as you are a registered student,  you may use your University ID to ride the South Side Shuttle.

Shuttle Operation

Where does the shuttle bus drop off and pick up?

The South Side Shuttle stops at six locations:

  • 22nd & Carson Street
  • 20th & Wharton
  • 15th & Muriel
  • 10th & Muriel
  • Student Union (Campus)

What happens when the weather is bad?

The shuttle bus will operate according to schedule, despite inclement weather, unless there is a state of emergency.  Be sure to check the parking office web page if you are in doubt.

How will I know I’m on the right bus?

The South Side Shuttle bus is white and will have the Duquesne University insignia.

I was late for my class, what can be done about that?

Unfortunately, arrival times are not guaranteed and are only an estimate. Delays can be caused by construction, weather or traffic. Please plan ahead and arrange to get to campus in time for class.
