3Rs for Helping Your Students Navigate Career and Wellbeing
- 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Hosts: Coralyn McCauley (DU Center for Career Development) and Erin Rentschler (CTE)
Presenter: Lisa Lenhart (Jewish Family and Community Services, Career Development Center)
The Center for Career Development's Career and Wellbeing Initiative provides supportive career consultation to students experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, or who are on the Autism Spectrum. This initiative provides guidance on how wellbeing impacts career options by offering consultation with a career counselor trained in mental health.
This session will introduce faculty and staff to the Career and Wellbeing Initiative and suggest ways that educators can assist students and provide strategies to better reach their professional goals, especially during this time of extra stress due to COVID, online classes, virtual interviewing, etc.
Participants will learn the 3Rs of this program: Recognizing, Responding, and Referring through a brief presentation. There will be time for questions and answers.
Please register online. Registered participants will receive Zoom information a day or two before the event.
