The Honorable Dr. Stephanie Domitrovich
The Honorable Dr. Stephanie Domitrovich has served on the bench as an elected general jurisdiction state trial judge of the Sixth Judicial District of Pennsylvania (Erie County) since being elected in 1989. Judge Domitrovich currently serves as elected Vice-Chair of the National Conference of State Trial Judges (NCSTJ) and as District 3 Director (PA, DE, NJ, and VI) for the National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ) as well as being appointed Vice-Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s (PBA) Children’s Rights Committee. She has served as elected Past President of the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges (PCSTJ), Past Co-chair of the PBA’s Task Force to Ensure Gender Fairness, Past Secretary and Past Vice-President of District Directors of NAWJ, Trustee Board member for Gannon University in Erie, Pa. and Past President of the Northwestern Pa. Chapter of the American Inns of Court. She is Past Chair of Children and Family Court Committee for the NCSTJ and was elected and served as American Bar Association’s (ABA) 3rd District Zone Representative for WV, PA, DE, MD and the D.C. She has served as Past Chair of the Unified Family Court Coordinating Council for the ABA. In 1996, the NJC selected her to participate for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) sponsored program to educate judges in the former Soviet Republic nations of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in developing their judicial systems. Judge Domitrovich also teaches for the NJC, NCSTJ and Gannon University in Erie, Pa.
