Unsung Heroes

The rev. Bill Christy, C.S.Sp., sensing a need for strength in the face of uncertainty, strode out of Laval House on a mission. Around campus, he wrote four phrases that became something of a rallying call for many: Be kind. Be brave. Be strong. Have faith. This inspirational video began with his simple chalk message.

Violin Professor Charles Stegeman exemplifies the teacher-scholar. Pharmacy Professor Jelena Janjic

Dr. Jelena Janjic is building something special in her lab, producing nanoparticles that could lead to treatments for a variety of health conditions. Her nanomedicine manufacturing efforts also expand the educational horizons of her pharmacy students, as they learn cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
