More than an education. An investment in your student’s success.
Students will gain the professional confidence, impressive experience and powerful networks to launch a meaningful career. It's time for bigger goals.
A Great Education at a Great Price
We understand that a college education is one of the biggest investments you'll make, and a degree from Duquesne will pay dividends over a lifetime. Independent sources agree that Duquesne is one of the nation's best investments in higher education, offering academic excellence, high quality and value.
At Duquesne University we are committed to making higher education affordable to our students.
A Horizon-Expanding Education
We believe an education is about those moments that move your student to a new and clearer vantage point-both in terms of academics and the larger world. We offer 85 undergraduate majors across nine schools, highly respected professional programs, and a new proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine opening in 2024.
But learning isn't limited to what happens in the classroom. With more than 250 student organizations, study abroad programs, internships and experiential learning, students will discover new possibilities, and gain the perspective they need to make an even bigger impact in their professions and on the people it serves.
A Private Campus in the City
One of the things our students continually rave about is our best of both worlds campus that's private and park-like and steps from downtown Pittsburgh. While strolling Academic Walk to get to class, you'll enjoy our beautiful, safe, self-contained campus with lots of green spaces and a distinctive view of the city skyline.
When you're ready to take advantage of everything Pittsburgh has to offer, just take a short walk or bus ride. The PPG Paints Arena—home to the Pittsburgh Penguins and big-name music concerts—is just one block from campus. Walk a few more blocks into town and you'll be in Pittsburgh's cultural district, where plays, concerts, comedy shows and the ballet await. Prefer to shop or dine out? There are plenty of stores and restaurants downtown and in nearby neighborhoods, like the SouthSide Works and Strip District.
Prepared for Anything
Throughout their professional life, we'll always be in your student's corner. The relationships they make here—with peers, faculty and the entire Duquesne family—are supportive, inspiring, and endlessly giving.
