Beginning with the 2016-2017 academic year, any Duquesne University undergraduate student obtaining a degree in a school other than the College of Liberal Arts can earn a second major through the College of Liberal Arts if they complete the following:.
- The Duquesne University Bridges Curriculum;
- The core curriculum of the School in which your primary major resides;
- The curriculum requirements of your primary major; and
- The curriculum requirements of your secondary major in the College of Liberal Arts.
Note: This is not a dual degree opportunity. Students from other schools will earn a Liberal Arts major without earning a B.A. or B.S. from the College of Liberal Arts and thus will not need to fulfill the Liberal Arts distribution requirements. However, students who want to obtain a dual degree should speak to their Student Success Coach about that opportunity and ensure that they also fulfill the Liberal Arts distribution requirements.
