Launching in Fall 2023, Duquesne University's online Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program prepares students for a wide range of careers in finance. From financial management and capital markets to banking and investments, this hands-on program will help students develop skills in financial analysis and decision making in all aspects of business. Graduates of the online MS in finance program will be prepared to fully engage in organizations ranging from small and medium enterprises to major corporations.

Through our flexible asynchronous online courses, you can complete the MSF program where and when you choose, maintaining your career and personal commitments. Due to the hands-on nature of our cornerstone and capstone experiences, these courses will be delivered with some synchronous online sessions.

Curriculum

Designed to prepare students for all aspects of finance, Duquesne’s well-rounded online master’s in finance curriculum consists of fundamental, core and elective courses, each of which contributes to students' understanding of financial investment, analysis and management. Students can enroll for fall or summer start dates and may have up to 6 credits of fundamental courses waived* depending on previous coursework.

*To be eligible for a course waiver, a grade of ‘B-‘ or better is required in an approved course taken within the past 5 years. Pass/fail courses will not be eligible for a course waiver.
