Lindsay Carroll, PT, DPT, OCS, OMPT
Lindsay is studying full-time under the direction of Ben Kivlan, PT, PhD, SCS, OCS with an emphasis on closed chain kinematics in patients with ankle sprain. Prior to initiating her PhD, Lindsay was employed as a physical therapist at Uniontown Hospital. She also gained clinical experience working for Triage Staffing and Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Lindsay is certified as an orthopedic specialist (OCS) by the ABPTS and an Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist (OMPT). Lindsay works as a graduate assistant in the Motion Analysis Laboratory in Rangos.
Daniel Hannah, PhD, ATC
CONGRATULATIONS to Daniel for successfully defending his dissertation, "Humeral Retroversion, Range of Motion and Strength Adaptations in Tennis Players"! Daniel's mentor was Dr. Jason Scibek from the Department of Athletic Training. Daniel graduated this August and is working at Augusta University with an academic appointment at the Medical College of Georgia-Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
Ryan McGovern, PhD, ATC
CONGRATULATIONS to Ryan for successfully defending his dissertation, "The Effect of Functional Movement Control on Patient-Reported Outcomes in Individuals with Non-Arthritic Hip Pain"! Ryan's mentor was Dr. Rob Martin from the Department of Physical Therapy. Ryan graduated this past May and has taken a clinical research position with ALLEN Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Allen, TX. During his tenure as a doctoral student, Ryan was an author on 9 peer reviewed/refereed publications, 2 book chapters, completed 5 invited presentations and was either a lead or co-presenter on 15 presentations at local, regional or national meetings.
