Get ready to become a 1L!
JD Jumpstart
Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University faculty will provide a fully
online asynchronous summer program for incoming 1Ls to help with the transition to
law school called JD Jumpstart.
The program is open to all incoming Duquesne Kline Law 1L's, free of charge. No registration
is required. JD Jumpstart will be available to incoming 1Ls in July 2024 in Canvas.
Virtual Office Hours
As part of the JD Jumpstart program, faculty will also offer "Meet the Faculty" virtual live sessions to provide students with an informal opportunity to ask questions.
Note: Please hold off on contacting faculty for information on advanced assignments, textbooks, and syllabi, etc. When this information is available you will be notified via your duq.edu email.
How to access JD Jumpstart in Canvas
- Be registered for Fall 2024 classes by the Law School Registrar in July 2024
- Set up your MultiPass Account if you have not done so
- Log into DORI using your MultiPass
- Click on Quick Links in the upper right-hand corner
- Select "Canvas"
- Choose the "ORG-JD Jumpstart" Canvas page
- Click on "Modules" to access JD Jumpstart
