The Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management (ESM) dual degree offers undergraduates the chance to earn a degree that crosses academic disciplines in a more streamlined fashion than in the case of a traditional double or triple major.
The joint B.S./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management (ESM) program follows the same curriculum as the other undergraduate majors in the Bayer School while integrating ESM graduate coursework in the third year of study. You will earn your Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry or Environmental Science after your fourth year. After completing all the ESM requirements during the fifth year, you will earn a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management.
Please note: You will need a GPA of 3.0 or greater in order to continue your fifth year of study.
