M.S. in Environmental Science and Management
The Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management (ESM) is a customizable degree program that focuses on developing solutions to critical environmental problems while preparing students for careers in environmental science and management. The curriculum features a core of classes in science, policy, and management. Students choose to focus on one of the following concentrations:
- Traditional ESM concentration: emphasizes regulatory compliance and pollution prevention and control.
- Biology concentration: focuses on field studies and allows students to take more science electives.
- Research concentration: provides students with opportunity to focus on a research topic and produce a graduate-level thesis. This concentration is research intensive.
