30% Tuition Discount*

Current members of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) may receive a 30% tuition discount for our online graduate nursing programs.

Eligibility

  • Be a registered nurse.
  • Be a current member of NAHN with one full calendar year of membership.
  • Be an enrolled full-time or part-time Duquesne University School of Nursing graduate student in one of our degree or certificate programs.

Process

  1. Complete the Tuition Discount Program Student Contract and Verification form.
  2. Email the form to Dr. Kate DeLuca, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, at deluca899FREEDUQUESNE.

The 30% tuition benefit will commence with the beginning of the next semester or term after the one-year anniversary of membership. View the Academic Calendar for upcoming start dates.

I am enrolled in a Duquesne University graduate nursing program. I am not currently a NAHN member, but would like to join. When would I be eligible for the 30% tuition discount?
You are eligible after one full calendar year of NAHN membership. The 30% tuition benefit will commence with the beginning of the next semester or term after the one-year membership anniversary date.

I am a Duquesne University nursing graduate student and a member of NAHN. What are the next steps to ensure that I receive the tuition discount?
If you have been a NAHN member for one calendar year or longer, download and complete the Tuition Discount Program Student Contract and Verification form. Email the completed form to Dr.%20Kate%20DeLuca. The 30% tuition benefit will commence with the beginning of the next semester or term after the one-year anniversary date of membership.
If you joined NAHN within the past 12 months, you will have to wait until you reach your one-year anniversary date to complete the form.

I am a Duquesne graduate nursing student and already receive the partner institution employee tuition discount. Am I eligible for the NAHN discount as well?
No, you can only receive one tuition discount at a time.

Can the tuition discount be applied to "continuous registration" (which occurs when a student has completed all coursework and is only taking dissertation credits) for doctoral students?
No. This discount only applies to tuition. The continuous registration is a fee.
