Photovoice & Community-Based Participatory Research
Facilitators: Drs. Rebecca Kronk, Nursing and Yvonne Weideman, Nursing
Photovoice is a research methodology originally created by Wang and Burris (1997). Participants use images to portray their unique perspective on issues, lived experiences, emotions, and much more. This session will provide insights into several Photovoice projects generated by the presenters. The discussion will offer practical applications, resources, as well as insights into their experiences with this qualitative research methodology.
