Parents play a crucial role in the success of Division students by:
Showing interest in the student's college stories.
Supporting the student's best efforts toward academic success.
Expecting accountability for failures as well as successes.
Learning about Academic Integrity and what it means to a student's success.
Student Information is Private
Parents should understand that the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) prohibits University personnel from disclosing information about a student who has reached the age of 18 to any persons not on campus, including parents and/or guardians, unless the student has completed a waiver.
