Bio
Education: I earned my OTD from Chatham University in 2010. My capstone project involved fostering leadership volunteering in Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA) members. I graduated with my MOT from Western Michigan University in 1980, and with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from St. Lawrence University in 1975.
Clinical Background: I have practiced in assisted living, home health, and rehabilitation settings over the past 35 years, including roles as Program Manager and Director of Occupational Therapy. My specialty areas include working with geriatric, dementia, and neurologic populations.
Organizational Leadership: I have been an active member of POTA for over 30 years, and more recently have served on AOTA's Emerging Leaders committee. POTA roles have included Central Conference Committee, Ad Hoc Leadership Chair, District Delegate, POTPAC (PA Occupational Therapy Political Action Committee) Chair and a variety of district and conference committee roles.
