Christine M. Green is an associate in Clark Hill's Pittsburgh office. She focuses her practice primarily on federal tax matters as well as state and international tax issues. She has experience in a wide variety of tax matters including transactional tax matters, partnership taxation, the taxation of investment products, payroll and compensation for both U.S. and non-U.S. persons, issues with respect to publicly traded partnerships, and federal tax compliance in the mortgage servicing industry. Her experience in transactional tax matters involves structuring and negotiating M&A transactions, partnership acquisitions and dispositions, and cross-border restructurings and investments. With respect to cross-border transactions and investments, she advises non-U.S. individuals and companies on the U.S. federal and state tax consequences of establishing and conducting business in the U.S. She has assisted non-U.S. individuals and companies from Canada, Mexico, India, and various other countries with making decisions on choice-of-entity issues when entering into the U.S. She also has broad experience in tax planning in connection with tax treaties. Christine also handles issues for nonprofit organizations including applications for exempt status and state charitable solicitation registration and filings.
