Christine Pollock is a graduate of Duquesne's History Department with a concentration in European studies. Her first job after graduate school was with the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania where she was part of the team of staff who helped open the Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center. After the opening of the History Center, she went to work at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh where she put her research and writing skills to work as a grant writer. After working for ten years in the nonprofit grant writing field, she accepted a position in Duquesne University's Office of Research. She is currently the Senior Director of Sponsored Programs, working with faculty on grant applications, fostering student research activities and managing the University's Office of National Fellowships.
