Bio

Deana Shick is a Member of the Technical Staff at the Software Engineering Institute's CERT Coordination Center (CERT/CC). Deana works on the Vulnerability Analysis team where she researches and analyzes current and emerging threats to national security, and develops novel ways to perform data fusion to enumerate threat actors. She has spoken at several working groups and events including FloCon, DHS's ATTE meeting, and the FIRST Technical Colloquium. Deana additionally teaches threat and network analysis at Carnegie Mellon's Heinz College. Prior to working at CERT/CC, Deana was an International Trade Specialist focusing on EAR and ITAR regulatory processes.
