Biography

Dennis Hoffmann is a drummer, percussionist, producer, and occasional accordionist with the
United States Air Force Band in Washington, DC. He joined the band in 2001 as the drummer
for the Diplomats, but since that time he has recorded and performed with the Concert Band,
Singing Sergeants, Max Impact, Silver Wings, Celtic Aire, and the Airmen of Note. As a member
of the Air Force Band, he has traveled around the world entertaining coalition troops in Iraq,
Afghanistan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Djibouti.


Dennis began studying drums at the age of seven in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated Summa Cum
Laude from Duquesne University with a degree in Percussion Performance. While at Duquesne,
he recorded and performed extensively with the Tempus Fugit Percussion Ensemble. The
group has released two discs, Tempus Fugit Percussion Ensemble and Push Button, Turn
Crank.


Dennis and his wife, Michelle, reside in Falls Church, Virginia along with their two children,
Sarah and Max.
