Jacqulyn A. Obara received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Duquesne University in 2000 and her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2004. While at Duquesne Law, she was a member and recent decisions editor of the Law Review and received the CALI Award for Excellence in Pennsylvania Civil Procedure and Trial Advocacy.
Upon graduation, Obara became an associate at a small law firm that focused its practice on family law. Beginning in 2006, she has served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Thomas E. Flaherty in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County. In addition to her clerkship, Obara serves as in-house counsel for a mid-size West Virginia corporation and as guardian ad litem for children whose parents are involved in custody litigation. Since 2014, Obara has been of counsel for Audley Law Offices, where she works in the firm's healthcare cost recovery practice.
Obara is also the court-appointed discovery master in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Family Division, and an adjunct professor at Duquesne Law teaching Trial Advocacy.
