Matthew Zarit is adjunct faculty in Political Science. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in July 2018. Previously, he received his B.A. in Political Science and Policy Studies from Syracuse University, and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. His research and teaching interests include American institutions, public administration, public policy, and campaigns and elections.
Matthew previously worked as the Manager of Employee Evaluation for the Pittsburgh Public Schools, and as a government contractor for Deloitte Consulting and BearingPoint. As a contractor, he worked with government clients at the state and federal level.
