Dr. Stephen Scypinski is an Adjunct Professor at the Duquesne School of Pharmacy and teaches courses on the various technical aspects of drug development. He has been a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the School of Pharmacy for many years and recently accepted the offer to become an adjunct professor.

Dr. Scypinski has many years in the pharmaceutical industry, serving in executive leadership positions at large pharma as well as small biotech companies. He is currently the Vice President, Biologics Technology, Innovation, and Manufacturing for VBI Vaccines Inc. Dr. Scypinski has played a key role in bringing 55 important medicines to market, including the well-known brands ELIQUIS, FARXIGA, and OPDIVO.

Dr. Scypinski is also active externally, having served as chairman of the Eastern Analytical Symposium and Chair of the NJ Pharmaceutical Robotics Group. He is also the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Pharmaceutical Innovation and Co-Editor of the Textbook "Handbook of Pharmaceutical Analysis," currently undergoing preparation of its third edition.
