Bio

Tsegaye Beru is an adjunct professor and associate director for faculty research and outreach services at the Duquesne University School of Law's Center for Legal Information and Allegheny County Law Library.

Beru has taught legal research courses to Duquesne Law's first-year students for more than 24 years. He has taught Advanced Legal Research for Law Students to second-year students and above for more than 10 years, and he is now teaching the online course, Research for Law Practice. Beru has been with Duquesne for more than 28 years.

Among other publications, he is the co-author of Pennsylvania Legal Research Handbook, and he has published, in-house, Allegheny Cases with their Parallel Citations to District and County Reports and Bills and Acts of Pennsylvania 1970-2001.

Beru is working on a book, An Introduction to the Ethiopian Legal System.
