SEDONA Systems

Duquesne Faculty members are engaged in world-class research and scholarship which enhances their credentials and builds Duquesne's reputation as a high activity research institution. SEDONA gives full-time faculty members a place to add all of their scholarly works and publications.

SEDONA is a secure and easy to use self-service research database allowing Duquesne University full-time faculty members to input, maintain, and update their scholarship activity. Once faculty members have posted materials, SEDONA then aggregates the material to produce meaningful reports used for accreditation.

Each school at Duquesne has been assigned a SEDONA Administrator. SEDONA Administrators access SEDONA to view faculty entries and are able to run reports on the entered data. To find out who the administrator is for your school, view Sedona Administrators.

Faculty members should access SEDONA through DORI, select the Faculty role from the GoTo drop-down menu, select the Academics tab, and then within the middle Academic Affairs column under the heading Sedona Database, select Enter Sedona.

Some features that SEDONA provides include

  • producing annual merit reviews;
  • building and maintaining a Curriculum Vitae (CV);
  • tracking grants, awards, and research activities;
  • and entering and managing course schedules.
