Eliana R. Latterman
Upon completion of her undergraduate studies at American University, with a BA in International Relations and a specialty in Communications studies in December 2014, Eliana took over the role of Director of Development at the McKeesport Hospital Foundation. Since receiving the position, for which she trained during two summer internships, Eliana has joined numerous organizations. She now serves as President of the Mon River Fleet Lions Club, Vice President of the Ninth Street Clinic Board, Treasurer of the Lions Diabetes Center Board, Coordinator for the Mon River Fleet network of State Health Improvement Plan Partnerships, and is a board member for the McKeesport White Oak Kiwanis Club. She is also a member of the McKeesport College Club, UPMC McKeesport Community Advisory Council, McKeesport Area Technology Center Occupational Advisory Committee, and the Mon Valley Providers Council's Steering Committee and Working Groups on Health and Employment.
Additionally, Eliana engages in volunteer work with Meals on Wheels and the McKeesport Heritage Center, where she is also an incoming board member. As Director of Development, Eliana works to cultivate community relationships through these and other organizations, as well as to organize initiatives and fundraising endeavors to support both UPMC McKeesport and the Mon Valley communities it serves. While at Duquesne, sparticipated as a Panelist at the Annual Conference of the Pennsylvania Communication Association and as a Student Representative at the Accreditation Team Luncheon for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accreditation Review. She completed her dual MBA and MA in Corporate Communication in May 2020.
