Technology Requirements for Hybrid/Online Coursework

Online courses require a working computer with an up-to-date operating system and a reliable internet connection. It is strongly encouraged not to rely on a tablet for engaging in online education.

Recommended hardware and software from the computing services at Duquesne suggest the following:

  • Intel Core i5 processor or higher
  • 8GB RAM or greater recommended
  • Cable/DSL broadband connection or better
  • Webcam for video conferencing
  • Headphones or speakers
  • Inkjet or laser printer
