Rob Martin Presents at ISHA Conference
Dr. RobRoy Martin (PT) recently attended the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy (ISHA) Conference in Madrid Spain and the Hip and Shoulder Symposium in Tel Aviv Israel.
Dr. Martin and Ryan McGovern were awarded the Excellence in Physical Therapy Research Award for their paper entitled: The Effect of Functional Movement Control on Patient-Reported Outcomes in Individuals with Non-Arthritic Hip Pain. Dr. Martin was also asked to serve on a panel of international physical therapy experts and write at least four consensus statement/ position papers as it relates to physical therapy and nonarthritic hip pain. While at this meeting, the group worked on two papers that will be submitted for publication in 2020. He was additionally asked to help in a research project to be carried out at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York relating to the evaluation of hip adductor/groin related pain.
