Welcome Incoming Class of 2022!

Here you will find pertinent and helpful information to make your transition to Duquesne Law as smooth as possible. Please be sure to come back to the website often for updates and announcements from the Office of Admissions. Our Ultimate Admitted Student Checklist will keep you on track! 

NEW: We are offering tours of the law school on Sunday, June 12, 2022, during Duquesne University Duq Days. Please register for a student ambassador-led tour or a self-guided tour between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Next Steps

  1. Save the Dates
    - Orientation:  August 18 & 19, 2022 
    - JD Jumpstart will open by June 15, 2022
    - First Day of Classes: Monday, August 22, 2022

  2.  Registration
    The Law School Registrar will register all 1L students by mid-June.  All 1L students take the same classes based on division (Full-time / Part-time).

  3. Submit your Seat Deposits.
    1st deposit due - April 15, 2022 (or the date on your admission letter)
    2nd deposit due - June 1, 2022

    Early Decision Applicants
    1st deposit due - February 21, 2022
    2nd deposit due - June 1, 2022

  4. Set up your MultiPass. MultiPass is a secure username and password combination that is your key to DORI, Blackboard, email, Webmail, and other wireless resources.

  5. If you plan on applying for student loans, submit your FAFSA using Duquesne University's school code 003258.

  7. Learn about JD Jumpstart, a summer program offered to incoming students once enrolled in Fall 2022 classes, by June 17, 2022.
