Murray AvenueDuquesne University is situated in the heart of Pittsburgh, a vibrant and safe city that was recently recognized as America’s most livable. Campus, which offers breathtaking views of Pittsburgh and its three rivers, is a short walk, bus, or train ride from downtown and only 30 minutes from Pittsburgh International Airport. Many law students choose to live in nearby Pittsburgh neighborhoods close to campus such as Uptown, Downtown, South Side, Mt. Washington, and Oakland. Other popular neighborhoods include Shadyside, Bloomfield, Friendship, Lawrenceville and Squirrel Hill. Duquesne University has a shuttle service for students who live in the Southside (Flats), though students can also walk across the bridge to campus from the Southside.

  • Shadyside apartments can range from $675/mo. for a studio to $1,400/mo. for a 2 bedroom.
  • Bloomfield apartments can range from $500/mo. for a studio to $1,000 for a 2 bedroom.
  • Friendship apartments can cost $900/mo. for a 2 bedroom.
