Alumni
A Strong Tradition
The Duquesne University School of Law proudly claims nearly 8000 graduates practicing in every field of law. Law Alumni work as corporate counsel to Fortune 500 companies and small entrepreneurial ventures. They are directors of government agencies and public interest organizations, serve as district attorneys and public defenders, and teach at law schools throughout the United States.
Enjoy this holiday greeting from Dean April Barton!
An impressive number of Duquesne graduates are judges on the local, state and federal levels, including the highest courts, intermediate appellate courts and trial courts in more than 20 states. Among all law schools in Pennsylvania, Duquesne has produced the most judges seated on the Superior Court, Commonwealth Court and Courts of Common Pleas. Duquesne Law alumni serve as judges of the United States Court of Appeals and the Federal District Courts.
