Career Connections: Judicial Clerkships

  • 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM
  • Room 204

Join us for this special program featuring current and former clerks to federal and state judges. Hear about their experiences and discover why judicial law clerk positions are outstanding professional opportunities.

The following panelists will join us:
Anthony Gestrich (L'18), former clerk to Judge Peter Phipps, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit

Tricia Martino (L'20), current clerk to Judge Judith Olson, Superior Court of Pennsylvania

Alana Staniszewski (L'20), former clerk to Judge Valarie Costanzo, Court of Common Pleas of Washington County

(Additional panelists to be confirmed.)

The panel will be moderated by Associate Director for Thomas R. Kline Center for Continuing Judicial Education and Adjunct Professor Julia Glencer and Career Services Director Maria Comas. We host this program in memory of Professor Rhonda Gay Hartman, who created this program with us several years ago and was always happy to offer her perspectives, guidance, and genuine kindness to law students. Professors Hartman and Glencer co-drafted a Guide to Judicial Clerkships which we continue to make available to students through the Career Services Office.

Food provided. Please RSVP via DuqLawConnect (under the "Events" tab).
