It may sound reasonable to think that researching the online presence of a subject in-house represents a cost savings. However, doing so may create serious disadvantages for your case. You may overlook crucial information, unknowingly tip off the subject, engage in unethical behaviors, or some combination of the above. This CLE training is designed to teach you how to identify and navigate the risks and challenges associated with the e-discovery process.

This course is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for one half (.5) hour of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit and one-half hour (.5) hours of ethics, professionalism or substance abuse CLE credit.

To register, contact Lori Hagen at or call 412-350-5339.

Cash, credit or checks; make checks payable to the Allegheny County Law Library. Payment can be made the day of the class.

Walk-ins permitted on day of session. Limit of 20 people per session. Lunch will be served.
