Assoc. Dean Rooksby writes Campus Legal Advisor column
Associate Dean Jacob H. Rooksby has been named a columnist for Campus Legal Advisor, a Jossey-Bass/Wiley Company publication that interprets legal issues for higher education administrators and faculty. Rooksby's article, "Gain insight into preventing, addressing claims of defamation" appears in the Feb. 2018 issue.
Rooksby is the associate dean for administration and an associate professor of law at Duquesne University School of Law. He researches, writes, and consults in the area of higher education law, and is a coauthor of the upcoming sixth edition of The Law of Higher Education. He is also the author of The Branding of the American Mind: How Universities Capture, Manage, and Monetize Intellectual Property and Why It Matters.
