Educational law students participate in national event
Professor Tiffany Sizemore-Thompson and students from the Education Law Clinic participated in the national "Lift Us Up!" conference in Pittsburgh in October. Sponsored by the Dignity in Schools Campaign and the Education Rights Network, the event brought together local, state, and federal policymakers to discuss solutions to ending "school-to-prison pipelines" and efforts to keep students in school in part by reducing the number of school suspensions.
KDKA-TV covered the event and interviewed Prof. Sizemore-Thompson. Watch the video.
