Jon Delano to speak at 64th law alumni reunion dinner
The Duquesne University School of Law will welcome Jon Delano, money and politics editor for KDKA-TV, as the guest speaker at the 64th Annual Law Alumni Reunion Dinner on Friday, Oct. 21, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Union Ballroom on campus.
Delano, an adjunct professor of public policy and politics at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College, earned his J.D. at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and has three times been elected to the Allegheny County Bar Association Board of Governors. An Edward R. Murrow award-winning journalist, Delano has interviewed numerous high-profile political figures throughout his career.
During the event's award ceremony, the following Duquesne law school alumni will be recognized as 2016 award recipients:
Gregory W. Kirstein, L'82, Distinguished Alumnus Award
Tracey McCants Lewis, L'00, Outstanding Achievement Award
Gino F. Peluso, L'80, the Dr. John E. Murray, Jr. Meritorious Service Award.
Awardee McCants Lewis is an assistant clinical professor, pro bono program coordinator and supervising attorney of the Civil Rights Clinic in the School of Law.
